Upcoming Events!!!


Wednesday, February 17th - Brandon will be performing in a benefit for the Breakthru Theatre in Los Angeles.  More details to come. 


Brandon  just completed a reading of the new musical “Leap of Faith”.  The Musical, written by Alan Menken, Glen Slater and Janus Cercone (who wrote the original screenplay).  The reading also features Raul Esparza, Sutton Foster and John Dossett.  The show is directed an choreographed by Rob Ashford.  The show will be playing the Ahmanson Theatre in LA in the summer and will open on Broadway in the fall. 


Brandon played Agent Johnny Dollar in “Catch Me If You Can” at the 5th Avenue Theatre in Seattle, WA.  The musical, written by Terrence McNally, Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman,  is based on the 2002 film starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks.  The show also featured Norbert Leo Butz, Tom Wopat, Aaron Tveit, Felicia Finley, Kerry Butler,  Rachel de Benedet, Nick Wyman, Clarke Thorell and Timothy McCuen Piggee.  Jack O’Brien directed the production and Jerry Mitchell provided choreography.  The show closed on August 16th.  Stay tuned for announcements about the future of the show.  Click here to see the New York Times article on the show.  The show is gearing up for a Broadway run in early 2011!


Recent News


Brandon’s company,  Theatreland Productions,  released the 30th Anniversary cast album of “Aint Misbehavin’” starring Rueben Studdard and Frenchie Davis last year on Rhino Records.  Brandon was nominated for a 2009 Grammy award (his second nomination) for this album.  They did not come home with the Grammy, but Brandon extends his congratulations to producers David Caddick and David Lai as well as past collaborators Stephen Sondheim and Arthur Laurents for this honor.  Brandon received a 2008 Grammy nomination for his work with Stephen and Arthur on “Gypsy”.


Brandon recently played Jamie Bradbury in a reading of the new adaptation of the 1978 Broadway show Platinum by Will Holt, Gary William Friedman and Bruce Vilanch.  The new script is adapted and directed by Ben West.  The reading also featured Allison Frazer, Sarah Litzsinger, Elon Rutberg and Michael Laurence.


Brandon’s company, Johnny Roscoe Productions,  just completed it’s first phase of principle photography for the upcoming feature “The F*ckin’ Champ”.  The film is set against the backdrop of rural North Carolina, and provides a glimpse into the world of competitive stick shift Drag Racing, aka GEAR JAMMIN’ and the story of a father and son teaching each other what it means to be a man.  Stay tuned for the teaser which is coming soon!
